The Benefits of Glutathione Therapy

Anyone living with Parkinson's disease knows that there are good and bad days.  For days when there are challenges, a new treatment, one that is relatively affordable, effective, and safe has been discovered.

Dr. Perlmutter who pioneered Glutathione therapy has helped to change many people's lives.  The results have been good and while IV Glutathione therapy is not a miracle worker, eliminating all symptoms, it has shown to slow the progression of the disease.

Of people who have gone through Glutathione therapy, as much as 90% have experienced dramatic changes. What happens with this particular disease is that dopamine receptors lose their sensitivity.

However, by using this particular type of treatment, the brain's dopamine begins to function more normally, which improves levels of sensitivity.  Additionally, studies also show that serotonin levels within the brain are also brought back to a normal range, which alleviates problems of depression.

When it comes to standard Glutathione therapy, most patients are given 1400 milligrams along with saline. For ten minutes, three times weekly, an IV is used to get the medication into the body.

While Glutathione also comes in supplement and liquid form, IV Glutathione is the method best suited for Parkinson's disease and other more serious illnesses.  Then, depending on the physician in charge, additional amino acids and milk thistle might also be added to the mix.

The advances seen over the years pertaining to IV Glutathione therapy are incredible.  This allows Parkinson's patients to get off medications such as Levodopa that have harsh side effects.  Anyone interested in this treatment option should remain on any prescribed drugs and then talk to their doctor about eliminating them and switching over to Glutathione therapy.

There are so many wonderful benefits associated with IV Glutathione therapy but the number one is the elimination of side effects, something no patient wants to deal with.  Not only do many of the traditional medications have side effects but some also come with serious health risk factors to include stroke and heart attack.

Over the years, we have seen the cost of healthcare rise so high that many people simply cannot afford it. It can be somewhat expensive but most insurance companies will cover the cost because ithas beenFDA approved.

For the patients with Parkinson's disease who have gone the IV Glutathione therapy route, they are pleasantly surprised at how quickly they improve.  Regaining some sense of normalcy is a huge blessing.  Because of the quick turn-around, doctors and patients are thrilled with this treatment option.  Today, IV Glutathione is used often for people with Parkinson's disease but patients with irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and other illnesses are also finding relief.

People who have Parkinson's disease or any other medical condition now have a new and exciting treatment option.  With Glutathione therapy, relief is imminent.  Because the results have been so astounding, this is quickly becoming a mainstream treatment options accepted by the medical community.
